Unit
Dealing with Dilemmas: Upstanders, Bystanders and Whistle-Blowers
Collector:
Ann V.
There are upstanders, bystanders, and whistle-blowers when it comes to dealing with dilemmas. The four lessons in this unit module ask young scholars to think about injustice and how to resolve difficult situations. Learners research individuals who have stood up for what they believe, practice appropriate responses to dilemmas and write about their own role models. For a final performance task, groups create an illustrated storybook that targets a specific audience and social issue.
