Instructional Ideas
- Reserve the computer lab so that your class can try out the online version and have the chance to ask you questions about navigating an online testing environment before test day comes
- Go over the answers together and pair the practice test with lessons on test-taking strategies that your pupils can use
- Use the data provided by the test to help you create targeted instruction for standards learners seem to be struggling with
Classroom Considerations
- Note that some questions take on a slightly different format in the online version of the assessment
- Depending on your printing setup, it may prove difficult to print the large-print version of the assessment
- Test-takers can review their scores after the online test; they can't see answers, only scores, and can print to share with a teacher

- In the materials tab you can find an answer key as well as an online version of the text (and its answer key) and a rubric for the essay response questions
- The answer keys list specific Common Core standards for each question
