The “Steps to Leaps: Well Being” module is comprised of three units. In the first unit, scholars engage in self-paced activities that teach them how to recognize stressors and how to identify activities that help reduce stress. The second unit in the series helps participants create goals for themselves that are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timely (SMART). Finally, scholars create a SMART time management plan that reflects their priorities and values.
