Climate Change in My Backyard: Grades 7-9, Unit 4

Climate change affects people and countries around the world in different ways. Through a five-lesson unit, students learn about the many types of impacts. They engage in role-playing games, reflect on how their actions contribute to climate change, and then select a country to research in greater depth. A pre-assessment lets you know what your classes know, don't know, and what misconceptions they have about climate change. The unit concludes with individuals sharing their research with the class.
