Learners read two texts, Archaeologists Dig for Clues by Kate Duke and The Shipwrecked Sailor: An Egyptian Tale with Hieroglyphics by Tamara Bower, then create sandpaper petroglyphs, dig in an at-home excavation site, and write a scroll of hieroglyphics.
