Instructional Ideas

  • Display finished clovers around the classroom, particularly next to the Classroom Jobs board if you have one
  • Use a cooperative learning strategy to heighten engagement and accountability while peers share their clovers
  • If class members have difficulty listing four roles, encourage them to focus on one with which they can go in detail

Classroom Considerations

  • The second of two resources about positive character traits
  • This lesson works in a counseling setting as well as in the classroom

Pros

  • Social and emotional learning empowers participants now and in the future
  • Boosts self-awareness

Cons

  • Beware cutting out the clover‚ lines are separated in a way that will cause the paper to easily rip
