Students formulate questions about a germ book before it is read to them. In this washing hands lesson plan, the teacher gets glitter on each students hands that represents germs. Before the teacher reads a book about germs the students formulate questions that the book may answer. After reading it, the students try a few different ways to get the glitter (germs) off their hands and discuss the best way to do so.
