Fourth graders are introduced to the rules of Twice Around. In groups, they kick the ball one at a time and run towards a base if the ball is still in play. When the next player kicks, the first player is not required to move to second base unless they believe it is safe. To end the lesson plan, they kick until the required number of players are out.
