The Source

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

Youngsters listen to the teacher read an excerpt from the story, The Source. The goal of the lesson plan is to have them begin to get an idea of where many foods and fibers come from. The lesson plan has the teacher stop reading at many points in the story and lead the class in discussion. While there is no written work to be completed, I think it is a worthwhile activity which should lead to greater understanding about this topic.
