Stress is rampant in today's society, and it is important that we equip young learners with the tools to cope with stress in a way that promotes lifelong health, wellness, and productivity. Discover the four A's of dealing with stress — adapt, accept, alter, avoid — as your class discusses common stressful situations and brainstorms ways to utilize and apply each of these stress management strategies. Pupils then conclude the lesson by identifying characteristics of a stress-resistant individual and beginning a daily journal monitoring individual progress.
