Simple Area of a Rectangle

These rectangles have everything scholars need to find the area, but none of them has units. Beginners to this skill multiply the length and width, all of which are whole numbers, to calculate and record the area for each. Consider asking them to add units to each so they can practice including square units in their answers. There are 10 rectangles and squares here. Some have smaller measurements but are larger in size; use this to get learners thinking about differences in units.
