Pbs Learning Media: Wild Kratts: Do the Lizard Walk

A set of activities and a video on lizards. The activities have students use electrostatic attraction to mimic a gecko's grip, use capillary action to try to drink like a thorny devil, use camouflage to blend in like a chameleon, and investigate how a draco lizard is able to glide in the air. The video looks at the Basilisk lizard, which can run on water, and at its ability to hold its breath under water for a half an hour. [2:28]
