Pbs Learning Media: Understanding Fairy Tales Old and New

A collection of digital resources for three different English Language Arts curriculum standards for grades 3-5 that address characters' traits and motivations in works of literature. They focus on modern retellings of old stories and familiar fairy tales. This collection includes videos for students, print outs of the original tales, and "Guided Viewing" videos. Support materials are provided at the bottom of each video for more ideas and activities to strengthen students' learning.
