In the video George Measures Up, Curious George needs to measure a tall building for Chef Psighetti. First he uses himself and then realizes he can use a measuring tape instead. As children explore the concepts of measuring, they learn about using same-sized units to measure by creating and then using standardized pictures of Curious George and the cat, Gnocchi, to measure things around them. They then experiment with measuring tools to measure and compare uncooked spaghetti strands.
