Learners study ethnic discrimination. In this discrimination instructional activity, students define ethnicity and ethnic discrimination in the global community as well as steps against it. Learners examine their own ethnic backgrounds and examine the causes and impacts of ethnic conflict. Students are assessed with a journal activity, a poetry activity, a case study concept map, and an exhibit or portfolio.
