A continuation of the video Introduction to Interest also from the Khan Academy. This segment develops formulas for both simple and compound interest using the variables P, r and t. After each of the formulas are derived, they are used to compute the amount owed on a $50 loan with 15% interest after 20 years. The difference between the two debts exemplifies the power of compound interest. [8:01]
