Gotta-Have Gear Scramble

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

In this activity learning exercise, middle schoolers unscramble words of items hikers should always pack for a hiking trip. After unscrambling the words, students draw a line matching each word to its definition. Middle schoolers also calculate how much food they will need to feed the four people going on the hiking trip.
