Instructional Ideas

  • Before beginning the series, download and read carefully the teacher reference packet
  • Rather than providing students with printed copies of the many colorful worksheets, project the worksheets and have class members respond to the prompts in their journals

Classroom Considerations

  • First in a series of eight related resources; however, items five through eight are the Powerpoint presentations for the four lessons
  • The series should be completed in order
  • Although the worksheets should be printed in color, to save the expense, black and white versions could be used
  • The materials may be downloaded in Chinese or English as either a PDF or DOC

Pros

  • The 228-page teacher reference includes the text of the lessons, PowerPoints, answer keys, and commentary
  • Learners are presented with a series of scenarios and asked to identify key points
