On your mark, get set, match! Learners use a complete set of letters, matching each to its outlined letter on an arc. As they choose letters, they name them aloud. For added difficulty, another arc is missing most of its letters to challenge pupils to complete the arc themselves.

- Set a timer for the class—give each participant an arc and letters, time them as a whole, and roam to check the progress
- Invite learners to work with a partner; one performs the activity while the other times them, then switch after one minute
Classroom Considerations

- The arc needs to be enlarged by 200% to be used in this activity
