Encourage scholars to perform random acts of kindness. A lesson challenges participants to choose a peer they wish to be kind to without them knowing. Learners list five good deeds and choose one to fulfill. Pupils reflect on the process and how they felt being kind.

  • Catch learners being kind, reward those that exhibit kindness with a small trinket  
  • Give class members a journal to write their response in, revisit the lesson weekly to encourage kindness regularly 
  • Brainstorm acts of kindness with the class, create and display an anchor chart compiled of pupils' responses
