Provide learners with a problem solving strategy to help them solve simple division problems and build a better understanding of the relationship between multiplication and division. They use a number line and jump up by the divisor, they count the number of jumps they made (repeated additions) to solve two simple division problems. Two additional word problems are also provided as practice using this method.
