Learners identify what they need from the instructor and classmates, what excites them about the class, what worries they have about the class, and what suggestions they have for the class that would help them.

Instructional Ideas

  • The closing routine is designed to take between 5 and 10 minutes; set aside extra time if using it for the first time
  • Add a response to each participant's suggestions and incorporate suggestions in your planning
