Use this Columbus day instructional activity with your EL class. They will read or listen to a passage about Christopher Columbus, then match phrases, fill in the blanks, choose the correct words, unscramble words and sentences, put sentences in order, write discussion questions and conduct a survey. Note: This could be modified to be used with other students.
