Can you build comprehension by reading about sports? Third graders read and analyze the story, Game Day. They work through the book to better understand the sequence of events, they practice eliminating incorrect answers to questions related to the text by referencing what they have read. After completing a portion of the exercise as a class they will work through the rest of the story, writing down how they answered each question using details and the elimination process.
