Activities for the First Days of School

In the post-pandemic, post-remote-learning classroom, it’s more important than ever to develop a school community where students feel welcome and safe. The 10 resources in the Activities for the First Days of School Collection are designed to ease scholars back into in-person learning. The activities encourage scholars to reflect on positive aspects of the last two years they would like to see continue and negative aspects they would like to see eliminated. Finally, participants design and sign a contract they feel would establish a safe, respectful classroom community.
