The denial of the Holocaust, anti-Semitic rhetoric and the growth of hate groups has led many European nations to pass laws criminalizing hate speech to stop the resurrection of Nazism in Europe. This article discusses individual countries and the laws that have been passed banning these hateful messages. it also addresses the conflict between freedom of speech and hate speech that many countries have to reconcile.
