Deductive Reasoning

In this deductive reasoning activity, students solve ten different problems by applying deductive reasoning to each one. First, they determine if a valid conclusion can be reached from each of the 2 true statements given using the Law of Detachment or the Law of Syllogism. Then, students determine if statement 3 follows from statements 1 and 2 in each based on the Law of Detachment or the Law of Syllogism.
