Who Gets to Invent and How Do Inventors Change Our Lives?

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

Students examine the way various inventions have changed their lives. As a class, they create a timeline of the most important inventions during their lifetime and another timeline of how old they were when it was invented. Individually, they use the internet to research one inventor and write their own biography of him or her. To end the instructional activity, they discuss the positives and negatives of new inventions.
