Students engage in book-making and sharing activities that increase their awareness about their own development from baby to child in order to develop language and social/emotional skills. In this development activity, students select an item from home that was special to them when they were babies, then bring it to school to share. Students create a book entitled "When I Was a Baby," which includes their baby photo.
