What makes an expression an inequality? Well, it would be considered an inequality if the expression has a greater than symbol, a less than symbol, a greater than or equal to symbol, or a less than or equal to symbol. This would mean that when the inequality was plotted on a graph, there would be ordered pairs on one side of the line that make the equation true and that the values on the other side of the line would make the expression false. Check out this video and see how.
