Students discuss an article in USA Today in which Gregg Zoroya proposes his theory about what happened to Amelia Earhart.  In this reading comprehension and Amelia Earhart lesson, students read an article in USA Today that proposes a theory that solves the mystery.  Students discuss the evidence given and the reasons some people do not believe him.  Students then create a short story in which they answer a "what if" question about a different famous expedition.
