Continuing from the past video on wealth bubbles, Sal begins by recapping what scholars saw in the first segment. He then goes into more depth on bank-owned homes, short sales, foreclosures, and wealth destruction. Scholars begin to understand where the money goes (misallocation of wealth) and gain some of Sal's insights on the government's denial of wealth destruction, which he refers to as "legislating against reality."
