Instructional Ideas

  • Provide this at the beginning of the year for reference or hand it out when you go over these verb tenses as a class
  • When you first hand this out, have learners underline or highlight the verbs in each sentence and point out the different parts (the endings, participles, etc.)

Classroom Considerations

  • Your class will need to know what a participle is in order to fully understand the definitions
  • This is just a reference page and does not provide any activities

Pros

  • The tenses are clearly spelled out
  • Learners will appreciate the example sentences

Cons

  • None
