Instructional Ideas

  • To help your class get started with the sentences and paragraph, project or provide sentence frames they can use and a word bank of the adjectives learned throughout the lesson

Classroom Considerations

  • Although the plan mentions making transparencies, you could easily use a copy and a document camera instead
  • While designed for an ELD class, the plan could also be used with younger students learning about adjectives, as long as you skip the portion about moving to the United States

Pros

  • Provides a sort of script that could be useful for newer teachers or substitutes; overall, the plan is detailed
  • Comes with images to describe and all the necessary worksheets

Cons

  • None
