Tables are no help if your scholars can't read them; provide some excellent beginner-practice using this table example and accompanying comprehension questions. Learners examine the data first, which charts the number of glasses of water each person has on Saturday and Sunday. They answer six multiple-choice questions which assess by asking questions about who drank the most or least, who drank six glasses on Sunday, how many glasses two participants had in together, etc. During debrief ask scholars what they would like to see a table on. Could they create this in class?
