Students acquire new vocabulary by reading an assigned text and determining the meanings of  unfamiliar words.  In this vocabulary development activity, students acquire strategies to use in a small group as they decode meanings of unfamiliar words.  Students work in small groups and assign roles so that each student has a determined job to perform in the group.  Students read articles on indoor air pollution.
