U-Substitution in Definite Integrals

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

The process definitely works two ways. Viewers watch as the video shows how to use u-substitution to evaluate a definite integral. The presenter uses two different methods to evaluate the integral. One method substitutes the expression used in the substitution process back in after the integration, while the other method changes the limits of integration to account for the values of u.
