In this anatomy and adaptations instructional activity, students look at an image of a trout and identify its various external features including fins, eyes, spots, parr marks and lateral line. Learners discuss these adaptations and why they are useful. Students use a trout shaped cookie and decorating supplies to display the various adaptations.
