Students examine the elements that make a story a fairy tale.  In this reading comprehension lesson, students listen to an audio version of the classic tale King Midas and the Golden Touch and analyze the characteristics that fairy tales all share.  Students collectively create a chart of the main fairy tale characteristics for their class.
