Tracking the Weather

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

Students study the weather over time in this lesson. In this weather lesson, students record weather information from the newspaper over a month's time. They record the wind speed and direction, the barometric pressure, the air temperature, and precipitation. They work in groups to develop weather cards which are used to describe the day's weather, and can be used as writing prompts.
