Tops and Bottoms

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

While the graphics are enticing, this presentation could be enhanced for use as part of a lesson on plants. The resource groups common foods into those that could be considered the tops or the bottom. For example, a mushroom is a part of the top group, a carrot is in the bottom group. The goal of the activity seems to be to have pupils identify parts of a plant. An instructor could change the information in the slides to reflect scientific descriptions for the parts of a plant.
