Pupils write a Bible verse in calligraphy.  In this calligraphy lesson, students take dictation on a passage from the Bible that is not well known.  Pupils discuss how long it took to take dictation and use a ratio to figure out how long it would take to copy the entire Bible.  Students "create" parchment paper with tea bags and make ink from berries.  Pupils study letters in calligraphy and choose a verse to copy.
