The Math Forum: Suzanne Alejandre: Pirate Diamond Activity

An interesting small-group activity that will engage young scholars in problem solving, reasoning, and communicating their mathematical thoughts with eachother. The materials needed for the project and the steps the teacher should assist the students with are listed. Use of the ESCOT Runner software will bring a technological aspect to the activity, but is not required.
