Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

Roman von Ungern-Sternberg is perhaps not well known, but his reputation as The Bloody Baron earned him a spot in the series of biographies exploring World War I. While he is perhaps best known for his role as an ardent monarchist during the Russian Revolution, his military exploits during the Great War offer discussion points for learners who want to know more about the fighting and violence of the conflict. Using the intriguing resource makes it easy to connect World War I to the Russian Revolution.
