The Jim Crow Era

High schoolers examine how African-Americans were affected by the Great Depression. In this African-American history lesson, students conduct independent research on the social conditions of the time period using the suggested resources. High schoolers use their findings to collaborate and present a play about the discrimination African-Americans faced during the time period.
