Based off of the hit television show NUMB3RS, this lesson introduced students to the various parameters used in graphing the elementary sine function. Technology use is very heavy, as students are encouraged to graph different sinusoidal curves and observe their similarities and differences. Through this lesson, students will observe changes in amplitude, period, and horizontal/vertical shifts. As an extension, students will observe such sinusoidal curves in their everyday lives (such as on money and in music).
