This resource for teaching Poe's "The Raven" marks his use of literary devices and vocabulary. As students cursor over highlighted words, vocabulary is defined and the uses of assonance, alliteration, and internal rhyme are pointed out. In the second half of the poem, students are asked to point out where these literary devices are used.
