Encourage your class to become aware of the violence that is present in children's television programs and how this violence can influence children. Do this by holding the planned class discussion in this lesson plan and providing opportunities for learners to think about their views on violent media content. In order to complete the process of becoming aware, pupils create their own media codes (based on Canadian codes) and review favorite shows of younger children. Handouts included.
