Just like so many other birds, swans migrate during the cold winter months. Your class can gain a better understanding of migration and bird life as they act out some of the activities common to the tundra swan. They make a nest, sit on "eggs," search for food, and then migrate. Video, music, and reading suggestions are included to make this a multimedia experience. Note: The lesson states it is appropriate for learners of any age; however it may be somewhat juvenile for children in grades five and up.
