An investigation of suffixes challenges students to change the endings of different nouns, verbs and adjectives in this two-part activity. The first task asks kids to use the given list of words and suffixes to create new words; this activity may require another sheet of paper. The second task asks students to reflect on their work, as well as think of other words to create.
